Sale Of Vertical IT Solutions To Create Jobs, Tampa

Vertical IT Solutions, a managed IT company in Tampa, has been acquired by one of the nation’s leading IT support providers. The company that acquired Vertical IT is All Covered, which is a division of Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. The purpose of the acquisition is the desire by All Covered to expand into the Florida market.

“All Covered looked at Vertical IT, as well as a lot of our competition,” says Andrew Cohen, managing director of Vertical IT Solutions, now a part of All Covered, a division of Konica Minolta Business Solutions. “They chose us from our competition, and this will be a great growth opportunity for the Tampa area. ”

All Covered specializes in delivering managed IT services to small- and medium-sized businesses, which is also the market that Vertical IT has focused on since its inception in 2002. With the merger of these two companies, expansion and job creation is planned for the near future; however, it is still early in the acquisition.

“In the next 12 months we expect to see about a 15 percent increase in growth,” says Cohen. “It’s too early to tell just how many jobs will be created; however, once we complete the transition we expect there will be growth and job opportunities. ”

Vertical IT Solutions currently serves clients in the banking, financial services, real estate, staffing, construction and nonprofit industries. All Covered plans to partner with Vertical IT to manage these clients along with generating new business not only in the Tampa Bay region but throughout Florida.
