Restitch Tampa Launches Competition To Enhance Hillsborough’s Riverfront

The University of South Florida and the Tampa Downtown Partnership recently announced an international design competition to improve Tampa’s Hillsborough River.

Restitch Tampa aims to enhance the riverfront so it becomes a “social, economic and ecological spine in Tampa,” according to WMNF.

Miami-based architect Chad Oppenheim will be included on a jury of seven urban designers, architects, city planners and artists who will select the winning design.
