Scientists from USF's College of Marine Science as well as state and
federal researchers remain busy analyzing data collected from
trips into the Gulf of Mexico to measure damage from the
Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
The information gathered by crews aboard
the R/V Weatherbird and the R/V Bellows will be used to
help the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration determine the
impact on marine organisms and where the oil will go next.
