Former St. Petersburg Student Awarded For Feature Film Debut

UCF graduate Erin Kitzinger's thesis film "Hope For A Thorn" won the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at the 2010 Gasparilla International Film Festival in Tampa. Kitzinger, a graduate of St. Petersburg High School, will also screen the 74-minute film at the upcoming Sunscreen Film Festival April 14-18 in St. Petersburg.Read the complete story.

American Institute Of Architects Honors Former Tampa Architect

Architect Christopher Kelley is one of nine recipients of The American Institute of Architects Young Architects Award for 2010. Tampa EMS VP Wins Award For Green Ambulance Initiative

Terence Ramotar, vice president of Transcare Ambulance Services in Tampa, is one of 10 national recipients of the Journal of Emergency Medical Services' Innovators in EMS 2009 Awards. Ramotar spearheaded a green initiative to reduce the electrical load of ambulances and keep equipment batteries charged.
