Trader Planet Adds Web Developer Job, Tampa Bay

Trader Planet, an online stock trade adviser based in Wesley Chapel, looks to hire a Web developer to augment services.

If you want toĀ be part of an innovativeĀ social media movement and have Web skills,Ā you may want to checkĀ this out.

Trader Planet isĀ aĀ social media platform for new and establishedĀ traders that providesĀ them withĀ an opportunity toĀ interact, learn aboutĀ trade logistics andĀ receiveĀ up-to-the-minute stock information.Ā And it’sĀ hiring a WebĀ developer toĀ help fulfillĀ its growing wish list.Ā

Lane Mendelsohn, founderĀ and CEO, saysĀ he’s looking forĀ Web talent that can step into a senior-level position andĀ begin toĀ augment the servicesĀ Trader PlanetĀ currently provides.

ā€œI’mĀ looking for a senior level Web developer,ā€Ā Mendelsohn says.Ā ā€œWe have a lot on our wish list that we want to accomplish. We need someone with years of experience and technical expertise to keep up with our growth.Ā Just like a restaurant, we’ve grown by word-of-mouth. People seem to really like what we provide.

Mendelsohn saysĀ what Trader Planet providesĀ isĀ a mix of free education andĀ networkingĀ for thoseĀ interested in the trade industryĀ that no one else seems to be offering.Ā ā€œA lot of places want to educate you, but it’s really a way to sell you something,ā€ he says. ā€œOurs is just free.Ā You have to be skeptical or you can get taken advantage of. But we have a reputation for integrity.ā€

Mendelsohn says theĀ wish listĀ also may includeĀ adding additional staffĀ besides the developer. ā€œWe have a whole wish list of things we want toĀ see happen,ā€ says Mendelsohn. ā€œMoreĀ bandwidth, More administrative support and people toĀ do outreach, toĀ network.Ā
