Neal Communities Purchases Lakewood Ranch Parcel

The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that in a $795,200 deal that closed in November 2009, Sarasota area developer Neal Communities purchased 10 pieces of property that comprise over 60 acres just east of Interstate-75 in Manatee County.

The Journal reports that the developer has announced plans to build 181 single-family homes on the property in Lakewood Ranch later this year. The plan also includes a resort-style pool area and spa complete with cabanas and a large deck.
