Tampa General Ranks Among Top U.S. Hospitals
Tampa General Hospital was recently ranked the Tampa Bay region’s #1 hospital in a national list of the country’s best hospitals.
The U.S. News & World Report findings for 2011-2012 revealed that TGH was nationally ranked in seven medical specialties including Cardiology & Heart Surgery, Diabetes & Endocrinology, Geriatrics, Gynecology, Nephrology, Orthopedics and Urology.
Tampa General Hospital, Moffitt Cancer Center, Brandon Regional Hospital and St. Anthony’s Hospital were ranked the highest out of 43 hospitals in the Tampa-St. Petersburg metropolitan area, according the the report.
All Children’s Hospital was also one of 76 children’s hospitals nationally ranked in the 2011-2012 list.
