Lakeland Airport To Boast Largest Solar Farm
Lakeland Linder Regional Airport will be the first airport in the state to house a solar farm.
By 2012, the airport will be home to a 45-acre solar farm capable of powering 2,000 homes with electricity.
Upon completion it will be the largest airport solar farm in the country, according to The Lakeland Ledger.
