TIA: 1 of 8 Chosen To Host New Cuba Flights
The Obama Administration recently announced eight additional airports that are authorized to host Cuba flights.
Locations include Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Dallas/Fort Worth, New Orleans, Chicago, San Juan, Pittsburg, Baltimore and Atlanta.
Nearly three-quarters of the 110,000 Cuban-Americans living in Central Florida live within a one-hour drive to Tampa International Airport, according to a recent report in the Cuba Standard.
