Wonders Of Ancient Egypt Head For MFA St. Pete

The wonders of Ancient Egypt will soon be on view at St. Petersburg’s Museum of Fine Arts.

Ancient Egypt – Art and Magic: Treasures from the Fondation Gandur pour l’Art, guest curated by Egyptologist Dr. Robert Steven Bianchi, will be on view starting Dec. 17, 2011.

One hundred pieces, ranging from a limestone sphinx to papyrus fragments, will be on display for the public through April 29, 2012, according to Art Daily.
