Forensic Engineering-Fire Investigation Firm Brings Jobs To Tampa

Donan Engineering Company, Inc., a full-service forensic engineering and fire investigation firm, has opened operations in Tampa and Orlando.

Headquartered in Louisville, KY, the family-owned company opened for business in Central Florida on January 4. Donan currently employees 160 employees from 24 offices in 12 states, including: Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Missouri and now Florida.

Presently there are two Tampa-based employees and a corporate sales professional who works out of Orlando supporting both locations.

“As our business continues to grow in the area we’ll be hiring additional engineers and fire investigators within the year,” says Kevin Abell, chief sales and marketing officer.

The Donan employees in Tampa and Orlando currently work from their home offices but they will be looking to acquire office space as the firm grows.
