Florida Employee Outlook Improves
Spherion Staffing Services reports that confidence among members of Florida’s workforce made a notable increase in October, according to a recent study. The results were based on a survey of employees who were asked questions on matters like job availability, likelihood he or she will lose a job and the future of current employers.
The Employee Confidence Index reflects an increase of nearly three points – from 44.5 to 47.1. While the slight recovery reflects an upturn in the way Florida’s workforce views the job market, it also shows Florida’s workers catching up to the rest of the nation – and in some cases beating it – in terms of optimism.
