Sypris Electronics To Secure National Power Grids

The Department of Energy recently announced $3.1 million in federal funding was awarded to Tampa-based electronic manufacturing and engineering company Sypris Electronics. Sypris, working with Purdue University, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Electric Power Research Institute, will conduct a three-year project that focuses on thwarting cyber attacks against the nation’s power grid.
