Pinellas County Schools Engage Students Via Technology

Pinellas County schools are bringing the latest tech gadgets into the classroom.

Since last year, the Pinellas school district has spent $1 million on Apple iPads — 1,800 of them for classrooms in schools like Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School in Largo.

Teachers say they’ve seen an increase in student engagement and productivity because of the new devices.
