Cafe con Tampa: Meet Drew Newman, cigarmaker

Drew Newman shared the history of his family’s involvement in the Tampa cigar industry going back to the 1800s in a recent appearance at Cafe con Tampa at the Oxford Exchange in Tampa.

Drew and his dad, Eric Newman, talked about the hows and whys of cigar making, creating the family’s new cigar museum in Ybor City as a destination for tourists and locals, and what they see as the future of the industry.
