Port of Tampa Considers Ferry Service To Cuba
The announcement that the U.S. has allowed charter flights to Cuba from eight states has opened up the possibility for charter ferries between the Port of Tampa, Cuba and Mexico.
United Caribbean Lines has expressed interest in offering 18-hour ferry trips between Tampa and Cuba on a weekly basis, according to The Tampa Tribune.
Ferry service to Cuba has not been approved by the U.S. government.
