Photo Slideshow: Broadway Theatre Project, Tampa

The Broadway Theatre Project attracts the best and the brightest rising stars in theater from around the world to three weeks of intense training at USF culminating in performances for a Tampa Bay audience and a chance to debut on Broadway.

To get a sense of the caliber of performers that arrive in Tampa each summer for intense training through the Broadway Theatre Project, consider current Broadway shows starring project alums:

“The Addams Family,” “Anything Goes,” “Book of Mormon,” “Catch Me If You Can,” “Chicago,” “Hair,” “How to Succeed in Business,” “Master Class,” “Mary Poppins,” “Priscilla Queen of the Desert,” “Wicked.”

Wow! Believe it.

Some 200 apprentice performers from all over the US plus the UK and Canada act, dance, sing and otherwise perform their way through three weeks of practice leading up to the Broadway Theatre Project‘s performances at USF on July 29 and 30. Performances will be held in Theatre 1 at 7:30 p.m.
