Manatee Students Earn Top Honors At Baltimore Tech Conference

A group of more than 120 students from nine Manatee area middle and high schools returned from the 32nd Annual Technology Student Association Conference in Baltimore with top honors. Overall, 23 first-, 11 second- and four third-place trophies were awarded to Manatee County teams — including a sweep of first, second and third place from Manatee students in the balsa car dragster design competition.The Technology Student Association is a national student organization dedicated to the needs of students interested in studying STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).Read the complete story.
