Artist Philip Pearlstein of New York City talks about how he selects models for his famous nudes and other creative works on display at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg.

Artist Philip Pearlstein shares insights into his thoughts and creative processes in this video interview with art critic Megan Voeller of Creative Loafing Tampa.

Pearlstein’s work is on display in an exhibit called “People, Places, Things” through June 16 at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. The exhibition consists of 62 pieces, curated by Patterson Sims. This is the second time Pearlstein and Sims have worked together. Listen to Philip talk about the show and the experiences that got him there.
