Pier Design Finalists Tour St. Pete For Inspiration

The three architects chosen as finalists for the $50 million St. Petersburg Pier redesign recently toured the downtown waterfront.

Internationally renowned architects Michael Maltzan of Los Angeles-based Michael Maltzan Architecture, Adriaan Geuze of West 8 in New York City and Bjarke Ingels of BIG in Denmark and New York City were welcomed to St. Pete with a boat tour and reception at the Salvador Dali Museum.

One of the three architects will create the winning design for the St. Petersburg Pier International Design Competition, scheduled for completion in 2016.
