A program dubbed Property Assessed Clean Energy has been proposed for St. Petersburg residents by financial consulting firm District Management Services.
PACE is a voluntary system for residents to install energy-saving equipment in their homes at no up-front cost. Instead, the cost will be covered through extra payments over a 15-20 year period on the homeowner's property taxes.
