The Toronto Sun may be based in a city that seems worlds away from the Tampa Bay region, but word of Tampa's 106th-annual Gasparilla pirate festival, which features the big adult parade on Saturday, Jan. 30, reached all the way there.
The paper recently picked up on an Associated Press story that profiled one of the pirate revelers and previewed the event's Mardi Gras-rivaling debauchery.
