Today Show Features USF Mock Patient Program
NBC’s Today Show recently spotlighted the University of South Florida Center for Advanced Clinical Learning for its standardized patient program. The program features an increasingly common approach to training its students on patient care; it incorporates actors who act out various illnesses.
Today Show correspondent Jenna Wolfe was a recent “patient” at the center, which is located at USF’s Tampa Campus. The program is meant to help medical students hone their skills at interacting with patients and accurately diagnose ailments..
