Kendra Frorup, an assistant professor of art at the University of Tampa, was chosen to be part of the Fifth National Exhibition (NE5) at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas.
The exhibition is a biannual event in which Bahamian artists are invited to submit works of art created in the past two years. This year's event asked artists to create a work of art relative to social consciousness in the community.
Frorup is one of 24 artists--12 male and 12 female-- selected to participate in
the exhibition running from Sept. 4 through Jan. 31, 2011.
