Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine will be expanding its class size for osteopathic physicians by 32 students for the fall semester of 2011.
LECOM, based out of Erie, Pa., opened a satellite campus in Lakewood Ranch in 2004.
Currently, the campus is home to 600 medical students and 400 pharmacy students. The college is also expected to begin a residency program at Manatee Memorial Hospital in July of 2011, according to
