Sarasota Offers Holiday Gift Mart
The Merry Marketplace will begin with The Red Hot Preview Party and Fashion Show on Friday, Nov. 20, from 6-10pm. Tickets are $25 and include a fashion show, early shopping, food and a complimentary drink ticket.
The Junior League of Sarasota will host its Merry Marketplace Holiday Gift Mart on Friday, Nov. 20, through Sunday, Nov. 22, at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium.
Almost 60 vendors will showcase their gift items, featuring: children’s clothing, handbags, health and beauty, jewelry, kitchen and cookbooks, women’s fashions, specialty foods and items for pets.
The Junior League of Sarasota is a women’s organization committed to promoting “voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.”

General shopping for the Merry Marketplace begins on Saturday, Nov. 21.Tickets are $5 in advance, $6 at the door. Other Merry Marketplace activities include live entertainment from local school groups, onsite gift wrapping, photos with Santa, and an edible ornaments class for children.
