Tarpon Springs Favors Urban Living, Less Sprawl
The future development of downtown Tarpon Springs and the Sponge Docks neighborhoods will focus on providing pedestrian-friendly access for the community and a reduction of urban sprawl.
City commissioners discussed the plan, known as SmartCode, that creates areas where people can live, work and shop without leaving their neighborhood.
