Eckerd To Launch Africa Awareness Initiative
Earthtimes.org reports that Eckerd College has recently announced that it will launch an effort to raise awareness of the issues of Africa. The campaign, titled “The Plight and Promise of Africa: An Eckerd College Initiative,” will kick off in January and continue throughout 2010. It will consist of a series of lectures, films, performances and visual arts displays.
