Tampa Native Artist Janet Echelman Debuts Work At Winter Olympics
The Boston Globe reports that Tampa native Janet Echelman, a world renowned artist now based in Brookline, Mass., debuts 75,000-square-foot Water Sky Garden at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Echelman, the daughter of Tampa Jeweler Anne Kantor, has previously participated in Lights on Tampa and is best known for her gigantic fabric sculptures displayed in urban airspaces around the world.
