USF Health Preps For Move To New CAMLS, Tampa

The University of South Florida’s health training programs are preparing to move to the school’s new Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation facility in downtown Tampa.
USF’s two-year-old Team Education and Multidisciplinary Simulation Center offers medical professionals and students the opportunity to put their skills in emergency medicine, internal medicine, neonatology, obstetrics and pediatrics to the test in state-of-the-art simulations that mimic real-life medical scenarios.
With the relocation to USF’s new CAMLS training facility, TEAMS will have access to expanded surgical and robotics training programs with a heightened sense of realism.
Florida was recently named one of the world’s emerging life science clusters in a recent Jones Lang LaSalle report. It states that Central and South Florida development projects — including CAMLS — “will have a tremendous impact over the next 10 years on the region’s life sciences community.”
