Tampa Celebrates Urban Excellence
Hosted by the Tampa Downtown Partnership, the Third Annual Urban Excellence Awards will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the St. Pete Times Forum in downtown Tampa.
This year’s Urban Excellence Awards presentation boasts 28 finalists in various industries ranging from restaurants to hair salons to entrepreneurial ventures celebrating Tampa. The finalists are individuals, organizations, businesses, projects and events that have contributed to highlighting downtown Tampa’s unique and vibrant culture.
An independent panel of judges includes: Jose Bello, Shooting Stars Post; Joyce Fisk, Tampa Bay & Company; Michael English, WilsonMiller; Rich Linquanti, Carlton Fields; Robin Nigh, City of Tampa; and Santiago Corrada, City of Tampa;
The event is open to the public and begins at 5:30 p.m. with registration and a cocktail reception, followed by the awards presentation at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $35 and participants can register online here.
