Sarasota's New College of Florida was recently ranked #16 on a list of the top 100 value schools in the country.
Forbes' ranking includes New York-based Cooper Union and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado, the U.S. Naval Academy in Maryland, Brigham Young University in Idaho, University of Wyoming, University of North Florida, Florida State University and the University of Florida.
The Center for College Affordability and Productivity compiled the ratings based on dividing the college's quality ranking, according to Forbes, by its tuition and fees.
