Port Manatee: Tampa Attorney Sees Transportation Hub For U.S. Imports, Exports

Tampa attorney Frederick L. Busack proposed his vision for the future of Port Manatee at a recent Manatee County commission meeting.

The port would work as a hub for cargo ships navigating through the Panama Canal and create hundreds of thousands of jobs, according to a story in The Bradenton Herald.

Updates to Florida's other ports and rail lines would be necessary for a successful execution of the project, as well as a new east-west toll road.
