The University of South Florida College of Medicine has made several initiatives to boost its presence as a competitive medical school.
Most notably, a $30-million
Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation in downtown Tampa.
The center, opening next year, has already drawn attention from doctors in Australia, South Korea, India, Israel, Panama and the United Kingdom, according to a recent article in
The St. Petersburg Times.
