The University of South Florida's Professional Choir Institute and Miami-based chamber choir Seraphic Fire spent two weeks in May 2011 rehearsing and recording Brahms: Ein Deutsch Requiem, Op.45 in USF's new Concert Hall.
The recording of their performance recently earned them a Grammy nomination for Best Choral Performance. The album's producer, Peter Rutenberg, is also nominated for Producer of the Year.
The Grammys will be announced Feb. 12 on
CBS.
