The eighth annual Tampa Bay Design Week, a celebration of architecture and design, is ongoing with events through April 22nd.
“We have a great lineup of interesting and fun events,” Rachel Radawec, president of the Center for Architecture & Design, says in a press release. “It’s a unique opportunity to see some of Tampa Bay’s outstanding architectural design behind the scenes and learn about how important design is to shaping our community.”
Some of the week’s highlights include a tour of the family-owned J.C. Newman Cigar Factory; a tour and happy hour at The Tampa EDITION, the region’s first five-star hotel; a walking tour of the LEED Platinum SkyCenter One office building at Tampa International Airport; and a walking tour of St. Petersburg’s Historic Kenwood neighborhood.
