YourMembership.com, a software as a service (SaaS) provider based in St. Petersburg, is looking to hire at least 10 people right away. According to Bill Stover, CEO of YourMembership.com, the need for additional staff is crucial.
"If we could add new employees tomorrow we would," says Stover. "It is just a matter of finding the skilled employees and the right fit."
The site offers customers an enterprise-wide management system with integrated social networking components. Stover co-founded
YourMembership.com with Hutch Craig in 1998. The two had teamed up to build a social networking site for their alma-matter,
Shorecrest Preparatory in St. Pete. After building the site for Shorecrest, the two discovered that there was a need to provide web hosting for other associations and small businesses. Stover and Craig started the site, which has grown over the years and currently employs approximately 45 people.
"We need additional staff on our sales, development, billing, support and creative teams," Stover says. "We need those additional people to keep up with demand."
The need for additional employees is due to the amount of growth the company has had over the last few years.
"Our customer base is growing, our first quarter 2011 was up 52 percent over our first quarter 2010," says Stover. "Every year has been a better year than the year before."
To continue to grow, Stover says he needs the right people on his team.
"We are looking for self-starters," Stover says. "We look for people who find ways to add value to our company. Those who are self-motivated, articulate and come with ideas for improvement."
