myMatrixx, a full-service pharmacy and ancillary medical benefits management company in Tampa, plans to hire 40 people by the end of the year. The company has worked hard since it opened in 2001 to streamline the worker’s compensation and automobile claims process through the use of technology.

Due to the popularity of its technology platform with its existing clients, as well as new clients who have taken advantage of newly implemented services, myMatrixx is in need of extra manpower to support the workload.

“We are looking to fill 40 positions in various roles, including customer service and IT,” says Christy Foster, director of talent at myMatrixx. “On our website, we have a list of positions for which we want to receive resumes for, as we are still growing and want to maintain a pipeline of qualified people from the Tampa Bay community.”

Foster says that the focus at myMatrixx is always on the customer. “We have been able to maintain a 99 percent customer retention rate,” says Foster. “Therefore, when it comes to hiring, we are looking for someone who is customer-centric.”

In addition to customer service skills, Foster says the company is looking for people who are responsive to innovation and technology, and are creative and able to multitask.

myMatrixx offers its employees engagement and enrichment programs to promote retention. “We focus on making this the kind of place that people want to work for,” says Foster. “The company’s very first employee still works here, and overall we have been able to retain our staff.”

myMatrixx is at 5706 Benjamin Center Drive, Suite 103, in Tampa.
