CareCentrix Expands, Adds 152 Jobs In Tampa

CareCentrix, one of the country's leading providers of home health benefit management services, is expanding its local Tampa operations.

Operating in Tampa since 1996 at 7725 Woodland Center Blvd. #150, CareCentrix will open a second facility at Westlake Corporate Center at 9119 Corporate Lakes Drive in Tampa. Making room for 152 new jobs, CareCentrix's workforce in the Tampa Bay area will total more than 500 employees.

“The decision to expand our Tampa operations was influenced by the quality of our existing workforce in Tampa, as well as our ability to recruit quality employees with a service-oriented approach,” says Elizabeth Keough, director of marketing and strategic products. “There is additional space to grow in our new location while being in close proximity to our current Tampa location, and we did not significantly add to the commute times of our current employees.”

Minutes from the Veterans Expressway, the new 31,000-square-foot space offers a quiet business location with plenty of parking and quick access to local sites such as Tampa International Airport, International Plaza and Westshore Mall.

The company's recent involvement with the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Developent Corporation has put CareCentrix in contact with resources in the area, expecting to become more involved in Tampa's development through contributions to the local economy and tax base.
