Achieva Credit Union, which has a rich history in Pinellas County, plans to open its first Hillsborough County location later in 2012. The credit union recently celebrated its 75
th anniversary, and announced a new brand for its future. Achieva now has a new logo and tagline - "Banking for Good.''
"We always want to be raising the bar, and it is our promise of banking for good -- for the good of our members, which means we are the exception to the rule,'' says Chelsey Wilson of
Achieva Credit Union. "Our new brand represents our renewed commitment to the highest standard of service, providing lifetime financial success to our membership and community.''
Achieva hopes to attract a younger demographic to its credit union with its new brand. Signage depicting the new logo will be rolled out over the next month. The new brand comes just in time for the credit union's expansion into Tampa.
"Our first Hillsborough County branch is opening in mid-September in the Westchase Shopping Center located at 12105 W. Linebaugh Ave in Tampa,'' Wilson says. "Five new positions were created at the Westchase branch including one manager and four member service advisors.''
While the new Tampa location is already staffed, the bank has plenty of opportunities at its many other locations throughout Pinellas County. Job opportunities can be found on the credit union's website. Current openings include management positions, tellers and various customer service roles. There are both part-time and full-time positions available at some branches.
