The new Salvador Dali Museum is well under way in St. Petersburg. Set to open Jan. 11, 2011, at 11 am, the surreal inspired structure will offer a cafe, outdoor gardens, library, theater and community room for weddings.
Years in the making, the new home for
the American collection of the famous Spanish artist is nearing completion on the St. Petersburg waterfront next to the Mahaffey Theater, and will soon replace the old Dali Museum on Third Street South.
