Vision Airlines will begin nonstop air service January 8 between
Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport and
St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport.
Vision will begin carrying passengers on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays between Mississippi and Florida on a Boeing 737.
"We are happy to enhance our service to Gulfport-Biloxi with Vision AIrlines," says Jeff Clauss, director of air service development for St. Petersburg-Clearwater International. "We have been pleased to see Vision Airlines continue to grow at Gulfport-Biloxi International."
Richard Matheny, chairman of the Gulfport-Biloxi International Aviation Authority, says the two airports have worked with their convention and visitors bureaus to promote and enhance air service between the two airports.
"We are excited about this nonstop service from one of our top inbound markets," Matheny says.
Vision Airlines operates as both a scheduled and a charter airline throughout the United States and from the United States to Cuba using three different aircraft.
