Sutter Roofing of Sarasota has expanded for the fifth time to include a
new office in the McLeod Commerce Center in Orlando.
"Our customers have been asking us to open a location in this
market for years," said Doug Sutter, vice president of
Sutter Roofing.
"We have loyal, long-time customers that are based in the Orlando area
that we have worked for throughout Florida. They feel that our passion
for customer service and exceptional performance on every project will
be well-received here."
Sutter has been busy in
the Tampa Bay region, too. The Florida mainstay, in business since
1902, recently finished several projects on schools, including
Boca Ciega High
School in Gulfport in Pinellas County,
Riverview
High School in Sarasota County and a recently awarded contract to
work on the roof at an elementary school in
Pasco County.
Sutter says the company tries to stay on top of technology
for green and solar construction using
Energy Star-rated products. The
Riverview High School project is an Energy Star project due to its
reflective membrane. "There's been a tremendous move toward reflective
light the last four or five years. It's really taken off," says Sutter.
Sutter attributes his success to Sutter Roofing's
impeccable reputation. "I would say the biggest factor is having a very
solid and dependable reputation as someone who can perform on any
project, regardless of difficulty," says Sutter. "We've managed to keep
our top line revenue consistent by working harder and seeking out new
opportunities and markets."
In addition to
commercial and large-scale residential roofing systems, Sutter Roofing
specializes in installation, maintenance and repair for specialty
construction systems such as agri-business, food service and cold
storage distribution.
