St. Petersburg

About $2 billion has been invested in downtown redevelopment since the late 1990s, establishing St. Petersburg as among Florida's coolest cities to live, work and play. The Dali MuseumUSFSP and the Morean Arts Center have helped spark the city's rebirth as a hub for marine science, academics and the arts. Other diversions include visiting an array of funky stores and restaurants, the Museum of Fine Arts, American Stage, the Palladium Theater and Tropicana Field for a Tampa Bay Rays' game. Housing choices range from historic bungalows to high-end waterfront condominiums to college dorms.
