Home Instead Senior Care of Pinellas County was founded in 2002 by Julie Krol. The company offers seniors the option of receiving care in their home as opposed to traditional nursing homes. In 2011, a new training facility was opened in Largo to provide ongoing training for the company's staff. As of July 2011, the company employed approximately 100 people, with plans to add 50-60 in the near future.
